About this role
Compensation Intern supports compensation programs by maintaining pay bands and salary ranges, benchmarks market data, and analyzes compensation data in Excel to ensure alignment with ranges and trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Support maintenance of pay bands, salary ranges, and job leveling documentation
- Collect and organize compensation market data for benchmarking
- Analyze compensation data in Excel to validate alignment to ranges and identify trends
- Assist with the annual compensation refresh
- Document compensation processes, templates, and workflows
Technical Overview
Hands-on Excel data work including Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP; gathering and documenting compensation processes; cross-functional collaboration for annual compensation refresh.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in HR or related field, with strong Excel data skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP), high attention to detail, and a curiosity for how compensation decisions are made.
