About this role
This role performs expert mechanical assembly, diagnosis, and repair for compressor-related systems with minimal supervision. You will troubleshoot equipment, perform predictive and reactive maintenance, document findings, and ensure HSE compliance across sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble mechanical systems independently
- Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot engines, pumps, and compressors
- Conduct predictive and reactive maintenance and minor repairs
- Maintain detailed logs and report spills or leaks
- Follow HSE protocols including emergency response and safe work practices
Technical Overview
You will work on complex mechanical systems including engines, pumps, and compressors, using diagnostic testing and maintenance logs to track issues and identify failure patterns. The role also requires proficiency with Microsoft Office Application for reporting.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Compressor Mechanic III with 3+ years as a lease operator or operations technician (or similar), comfortable assembling/disassembling mechanical systems and independently handling reactive maintenance and minor repairs. They have strong experience troubleshooting engines, pumps, and compressors, keep detailed logs, and strictly follow Health, Safety, and Environmental protocols including emergency response.
