Position Details
About this role
This role coordinates construction and maintenance projects, including operations scoping work such as acquiring bids and writing AFEs/ POs. The coordinator oversees projects from start to finish by monitoring status, scheduling contractors/inspectors, and ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness expectations are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee construction and maintenance project plans
- Identify and select resources (inspection, equipment, contractors, material procurement)
- Direct, monitor, and schedule contractors and inspectors for pipeline and facility work
- Coordinate installation/maintenance activities and pressure testing
- Ensure safety and quality compliance and prepare project documentation (completion reports, accident reports, work orders)
Technical Overview
The technical scope covers pipeline and facility construction coordination, including equipment and systems such as meter/regulator settings, tapping/pressure control equipment, storage tanks/scrubbers/dehydrators, corrosion control, leakage surveys, and pressure tests (air, gas, water). It also includes DOT-covered functions and readiness to respond immediately to hazardous conditions as required.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level construction coordination professional who can coordinate and monitor construction and maintenance projects end-to-end, including scheduling contractors and inspectors and ensuring safety and quality compliance. They have experience with pipeline and facility work (e.g., corrosion control, leakage surveys, meter/regulator settings, and pressure tests) and are comfortable writing AFEs/ POs and completing job documentation such as completion reports and accident reports.
