Manage and oversee construction activities for Amazon data center projects, serving as the owner’s representative on site. Drive outcomes across scope, quality, schedule, and budget while directing general contractors through all phases from bidding to punch list closeout.

- Oversee construction project scope, quality, schedule, and budget
- Interface directly with general contractors through bidding, award, execution, and closeout
- Negotiate and evaluate bids/proposals with accuracy
- Create project scope and requests for proposals and perform construction financial analysis
- Manage construction vendors and contractors to drive cost schedule quality
Technical Overview
The role focuses on constructing electrical and mechanical systems for industry-leading, energy-efficient data centers. It requires daily onsite project leadership and strong vendor/contractor management to ensure constructability, cost control, and deliverable handoff to customers.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced construction or capital projects manager who has overseen data center buildouts (or similar large-scale infrastructure projects) with strong control of cost, schedule, and quality. They can directly manage general contractors through bidding, award, execution, and punch list/closeout while producing scopes of work and running financial analysis.
