About this role
Data center construction manager responsible for managing multi-site electrical and mechanical systems, vendor management, and safety/compliance programs. Oversees project scope, quality, schedule, and budget from bidding through hand-off.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct interface with construction general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and closeout phases
- Conduct negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids/proposals
- Create construction project scope and requests for proposals
- Perform financial analysis of construction
- Manage construction projects for initiatives aimed at increasing resiliency of our data centers
Technical Overview
Focus on MEP systems, life safety regulations, CMMS, construction documentation, and cost-control activities within data center projects.
Ideal Candidate
Senior construction manager with 8+ years overseeing large mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects and proven vendor management. Strong with CMMS, cost analysis, and life-safety regulatory codes; able to lead multi-discipline teams and manage complex data center builds onsite.
Must-Have Skills
