Dexian is hiring a Consultant (Software Engineer) to analyze, design, and develop Java-based applications for client projects. The role emphasizes Spring, REST, microservices, and modern DevOps tools in a cloud-based environment with travel to client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysis, design, and development of Java-based applications
- Use Spring, REST and Microservices architectures
- JUnit, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Splunk tooling
- Work with an Oracle database in a cloud-based environment
- Travel to client sites across the US
Technical Overview
Front-to-back Java stack development with Spring and RESTful services, microservices architecture, unit testing with JUnit, CI/CD with Jenkins, containerization with Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes, log/telemetry with Splunk, and Oracle database integration in cloud environments.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid- to senior-level Java software engineer with 5+ years of Java development experience, including hands-on work with Spring, REST, and microservices. They should be comfortable working in client environments, traveling as needed, and delivering robust Java-based applications in a cloud-enabled setting.
