About this role
Contract Analyst II prepares, analyzes, negotiates, interprets, and communicates information from complex legal documents while maintaining contracts in data management systems. The role supports contract administration activities, ensures compliance with contract terms and government regulations, and provides ad hoc reporting and stakeholder support.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, prepare, review, maintain, and/or process complex legal documents
- Review legal documents for adherence to contract terms, company standards, policies, procedures, and government regulations
- Negotiate contract terms and provisions with external stakeholders
- Update and maintain data management systems and compile ad hoc reports
- Participate in and support internal audits related to contractual compliance
Technical Overview
Contract administration function centered on managing complex legal documentation, ensuring contractual compliance, negotiating terms with external stakeholders, and supporting internal audits. Uses contract data management systems along with land records database and imaging systems, and produces ad hoc management reports.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level contract analyst with 1-2 years of related experience (or 4+ years contract administration experience) who can analyze, prepare, review, and negotiate complex legal documents. They have strong knowledge of contractual compliance and can maintain contract records in data management systems while producing ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders.
