About this role

Contract Specialist II leads complex DoD contracting activities, develops and administers agreements under OTAs, negotiates terms, and ensures compliance with FAR/DFARS while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Performs as the lead contracts specialist for assigned projects throughout the project lifecycle
Develops, prepares, reviews, and administers agreements
Supports negotiations with performers/customers
Maintains accurate contract records and compliance
Primary liaison between the organization and performers/customers

Technical Overview

Requires knowledge of FAR/DFARS, contract management practices, and MS Office; experience with contract documentation and regulatory compliance.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level contract professional with 3+ years DoD contracting experience, strong FAR/DFARS knowledge, and ability to manage OTA projects and negotiate terms with DoD stakeholders.
