Amazon Center for Quantum Computing is seeking an applied scientist specializing in testing of control systems hardware. The role focuses on validating hardware and software for control and readout functions of Amazon quantum processors using strong test engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop automated test scripts for mid-volume electronics manufacturing
- Design and implement test plans for high-speed, mixed-signal PCAs and instrument assemblies
- Develop test requirements and coverage matrices with stakeholders
- Analyze test data to identify failure root causes and trends and implement corrective actions
- Drive continuous test improvement and design-for-testability (DFT) enhancements
Technical Overview
You will develop automated test scripts for mid-volume electronics manufacturing and create test plans for high-speed, mixed-signal PCAs and instrument assemblies. The work includes building coverage matrices, analyzing test data for root causes and trends, and improving reliability through corrective actions and design-for-testability (DFT) enhancements.
