The Controller for the Blue Point Project will own financial controls, compliance, and governance across a multi-billion-dollar capital investment. The role leads project accounting activities, supports month-end close and general ledger entries, and partners with Project Controls to deliver accurate cost tracking, forecasting, and financial transparency.

Key Responsibilities

Own financial controls, compliance, and governance across the capital project
Lead construction project accounting (CIP, fixed assets, accruals, capital calls, cash calls)
Manage monthly close and general ledger entries for project accounting
Partner with Project Controls for cost tracking, forecasting, and financial transparency
Support internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness

Technical Overview

This role focuses on project accounting for large-scale construction, including construction-in-progress (CIP), fixed assets, accruals, capital calls, and cash calls. It also requires strong audit readiness support and SOX-aligned governance across the project lifecycle, progressing toward broader Controller scope as the project transitions toward operations.

The ideal candidate is a senior-level accounting professional with controller or close-to-controller experience supporting large capital projects. They have strong project accounting expertise across construction-in-progress (CIP), fixed assets, accruals, and the monthly close, with demonstrated SOX-aligned financial controls and audit readiness.
