About this role

The Controller will coordinate financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for ITW manufacturing sites in Newburyport, MA and Bloomfield, CT. The role leads accurate monthly/quarterly/year-end closes under US GAAP, strengthens internal controls, and provides cost and decision support to Operations and Division leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and direct financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close under USGAAP
Manage compliance to accounting policies and internal controls (including SOX compliance)
Oversee inventory management, BOM understanding, and product costing including labor & overhead standards updates
Provide ad-hoc analyses and decision support to Division and local leadership

They have hands-on responsibility for internal controls (including SOX), inventory and product costing (BOMs, labor and overhead standards), and partner closely with Operations and Division leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost insight.
