About this role
Tror is seeking a Controller to lead financial accounting, reporting, and FP&A for a private-equity-backed network of 25+ clinical research sites. The role owns monthly close and consolidated reporting, drives forecasting and cash projections, and modernizes reporting with automation and self-service dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly close and consolidated reporting across 25 sites
- Own FP&A including budgeting, rolling forecasts, and 13-week cash flow projections
- Develop predictive analytics and collections forecasting models using Power BI and Fabric Lakehouse
- Automate accrual-basis site financial reporting and self-service dashboards for stakeholders
- Oversee GAAP compliance, GL controls, chart of accounts, and intercompany elimination while leading the accounting team
Technical Overview
This Controller role leverages Power BI and ECN's Fabric Lakehouse to produce predictive analytics and self-service dashboards, replacing a currently manual Excel-based process. It also relies on QuickBooks subsidiary instances and strong data integrity and consolidation logic.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior accounting and finance leader with healthcare or clinical research experience who can own month-end close, consolidated reporting, and FP&A for a multi-site organization. They combine strong GAAP-driven accounting rigor with the ability to build investor-grade dashboards and predictive analytics using Power BI and a Fabric Lakehouse environment.
