About this role

Controls Engineer responsible for developing and implementing software and hardware changes to reduce machine downtime and improve system efficiency in a complex assembly plant environment. The role includes PLC troubleshooting/programming, HMI programming support, maintenance records, and participation in continuous improvement while following ISO14001 and TS16949 procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement software and hardware changes to improve efficiency and quality
Troubleshoot and program PLC's (ControlLogix, MicroLogix, CompactLogix) with ladder logic changes
Program and support HMI systems (Panelview)
Maintain accurate records for machines/assets, repair documentation, drawings, diagrams, manuals, and preventive maintenance
Follow ISO14001 and TS16949 procedures and enforce safety/policy requirements

They have experience programming HMI systems (e.g., Panelview) and have worked in a J.I.T. or complex assembly plant environment while following ISO14001 and TS16949 processes.
