About this role
This role coordinates patient care for Workers Comp and Occupational Medicine patients, including registration, referrals, scheduling, and document/authorization workflows. The coordinator also performs required screening steps and supports billing questions with the Business Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Workers Comp and Occupational Medicine patient care workflow
- Handle registration, referrals, and scheduling for new and established patients
- Verify Workers Comp patient information with employer/insurance carrier
- Complete work statuses and PR2's and send to employers/adjusters
- Perform walk-in pre-employment Urine Drug Screen, Alcohol Swabs testing, DOT, and Chain of Custody Form
