Corporate Banking Analyst for KeyCorp’s Native American Financial Services team, supporting corporate finance and capital raising transactions. The role is heavily analytical, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, industry research, and the preparation of pitch books and presentation materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial modeling and valuation analyses
- Develop presentation materials, pitch books, and descriptive memoranda
- Conduct industry research and support new client meetings
- Work with corporate/investment bankers and product partners on corporate finance transactions
- Use Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, and Thomson Financial for research and analysis
Technical Overview
This role focuses on investment/corporate finance analysis: building models and valuations using comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and leveraged buy-out analysis. The candidate uses Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, Thomson Financial, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to produce client-ready documentation.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level corporate banking analyst with at least 1 year of relevant experience and strong quantitative skills in financial modeling and financial statement analysis. They can build valuation work using comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and leveraged buy-out analysis, and they are proficient with Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, Thomson Financial, and Microsoft Office Suite. The candidate must be able to obtain FINRA S79, FINRA S63, and FINRA S52 within 1-1/2 years.
