About this role

Role focused on building and maintaining data foundations to power cost analytics across GM Finance, leveraging data engineering, exploratory data analysis, and predictive modeling to optimize vehicle profitability and program performance.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain data models and curated datasets for PPCO analytics
Query, integrate, and engineer data from multiple enterprise systems and build robust ETL/ELT pipelines
Perform in-depth Exploratory Data Analysis and feature engineering
Develop and validate predictive models (regression, clustering, random forests, gradient boosting, time-series/panel models)
Enable system integration with data pipelines and workflow automation; automate cost engineering workflows

Technical Overview

Stack includes Python, SQL, Databricks/Spark, ETL/ELT pipelines, EDA, and predictive modeling. Reporting with Power BI; design scalable data structures and pipelines from multiple enterprise systems; automating cost engineering workflows with Python.
