Key Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, and install electrical systems and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and electrical codes using manuals, schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
- Use test equipment, measuring, and alignment tools for assigned tasks
- Plan and coordinate work following work orders, work permits, and safety instructions
- Perform work in a safe and environmentally sound manner
Technical Overview
Performs electrical work using test equipment, measuring tools, and alignment tools, applying knowledge of grounding and shielding and wiring/raceway systems. Coordinates and plans tasks according to work orders and work permits while maintaining safe and environmentally sound practices.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced electrician (5+ years) with a High school diploma or GED and the ability to work on-site and in-person. They can repair, maintain, and install electrical systems using electrical codes, manuals, schematics, and blueprints, and they can execute work safely while coordinating tasks with work orders and work permits.
