About this role
The Credit Analyst II partners with Portfolio Managers to support daily underwriting and ongoing credit monitoring. The role focuses on analytical work, risk identification, covenant compliance tracking, and preparing materials for credit reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Portfolio Managers on underwriting and analytical tasks
- Complete indicative credit information in Banking Systems with accuracy
- Prepare risk-rating scorecard and tickler event analysis and recommend actions
- Verify covenants, track past due/out-of-compliance covenants, and assess compliance certificates
- Run PD and other risk/projection models with provided assumptions
Technical Overview
The work involves building and running credit risk components such as risk-rating scorecards, tickler event analysis, and Probability of Default (PD) models. It also includes maintaining accurate indicative credit data in Banking Systems and producing ALSR reports using Credit Service reporting and RADAR.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level credit analyst with strong experience in credit underwriting, covenant monitoring, and financial/risk analysis. They can build and run credit risk models (including Probability of Default) with oversight, maintain accurate credit data in banking systems, and prepare clear documentation for credit reviews.
