About this role
Lead crisis clinician coverage in a 24-hour call center handling inbound calls, texts, and chats from individuals in crisis. Serve as both a direct call handler and a shift support lead for non-clinical call takers when managers are not scheduled.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls, texts or chats from individuals in crisis
- Provide telephonic intervention and de-escalation per established protocols
- Mentor Clinical & Referral Specialists and assist with complex cases
- Provide support consultation to call takers in the absence of Manager
- Monitor call volumes and track staff availability and call statuses
Technical Overview
Primarily clinical operations rather than software/analytics. The role depends on protocol adherence for telephonic intervention and de-escalation, plus operational monitoring of call volumes and staff availability in a rotating shift environment.
