About this role

This role is for an SDET to strengthen quality engineering by modernizing and scaling test automation. You will build UI and API test frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and support Agile teams with traceability and quality ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Agile feature teams to review user stories and define acceptance criteria
Design, build, and maintain scalable UI and API test automation frameworks
Transition legacy automation (Selenium with Java, Postman/Newman) to unified CI/CD-aligned solutions
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback and reliable release validation
Partner on traceability between requirements, test cases, and defect tracking

Technical Overview

You will design and maintain scalable UI and API automation using Playwright (TypeScript preferred) and/or Cypress, while transitioning from legacy Selenium (Java) and Postman/Newman. The work includes REST/SOAP and end-to-end testing, CI/CD pipeline integration, SQL-based data validation, and test architecture improvements.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an SDET with hands-on Playwright experience (TypeScript preferred) building UI and API automation frameworks. They have strong CI/CD and DevOps experience integrating automated tests into pipelines, plus proven SQL skills for data validation and test data setup. They work comfortably in Agile teams, support legacy automation modernization (Selenium and Postman/Newman), and can contribute to traceability across requirements, test cases, and defect tracking.
