Customer Billing Operations Analyst

This role supports customer billing operations by providing business analysis and technical support for meter-to-bill processes. The analyst works with the Open-cIS Customer information System to ensure timely and accurate billing, supports monthly rate entry/verification, and assists with test billing for system releases.

• Perform analysis on large amounts of complex data for fact-based insights
• Provide internal process and user/customer perspective into design and analysis
• Support departmental reporting, metrics, budgets, dashboards, and analytics
• Perform system configuration and administration within the Customer Information System
• Gather requirements, develop solutions, coordinate project activities, and author and execute test cases for system releases

The position involves configuring and administering the Customer information System (Open-cIS), performing billing accuracy and rate implementation support, and authoring/executing test cases for system releases. It also requires analyzing complex data to provide insights and supporting operational reporting and analytics.

The ideal candidate is an experienced business analyst who supports utility billing operations, with hands-on experience in meter-to-bill processes and billing accuracy validation. They have worked with a Customer information System (Open-cIS) to perform configuration, support monthly rate entry/verification, and author/execute test cases for system releases, coordinating cross-functionally across utilities and jurisdictions.
