This is a remote Customer Service Representative role for a DME supplier, supporting customers with orders, returns, and product/service questions. The position emphasizes high call volume performance, compliance with Medicare and Medicaid guidelines, and close collaboration with billing and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer 50-60 calls per day with timely information
- Process customer orders including changes and returns per policy
- Collaborate with billing to resolve disputed credit items
- Follow Medicare and Medicaid guidelines while supporting customers
- Maintain detailed documentation and handle letters and quotes
Technical Overview
The role uses Microsoft Office Suite and requires proficiency navigating web-based applications and inventory control software. Brightree is a plus, and the work includes maintaining electronic customer data and detailed documentation.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced customer service professional with 3+ years in elevated customer service, comfortable handling 50–60 calls per day and resolving order status, product questions, and returns. They are familiar with Medicare and Medicaid guidelines and can work reliably 8am–5pm Pacific Time while using Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
