About this role
The Customer Service Representative - Contract provides customer service in person, by phone, and by email, while managing existing accounts and prospecting new customers to sell Royal Building Solutions products. The role handles order processing, invoicing through JDE, quotes, shipping coordination, and after-sales support.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders including custom orders and price them accurately
- Coordinate orders for timely and cost-efficient shipping
- Use the JDE system to process invoices and review/update receiving reports
- Prepare quotes and follow up accordingly while upselling existing accounts
- Provide overall support and after sales service to customers
Technical Overview
This role uses the JDE system to process invoices and review/update receiving reports. It also requires strong administrative processing across phone, email, and quote preparation workflows to support inside sales and customer account management.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level customer service professional for a contract role who can provide exemplary service in person, over the phone, and via email. They have experience processing customer orders and invoices (including JDE), preparing quotes, coordinating shipping, and demonstrating exceptional phone etiquette and strong verbal and written communication.
