D.R. Horton is seeking a Customer Service Technician to maintain high customer satisfaction by handling homeowner warranty requests after closing. The role includes evaluating repairs, processing work orders, performing necessary home repairs, and coordinating subcontractors to complete compliant warranty work.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate homeowner repair issues to determine if warrantable
- Process work orders from supervisors and homeowners instructions
- Perform carpentry, drywall, texture repair, and painting
- Schedule and manage subcontractors for warranty repairs
- Follow up with homeowners and process charge-back documentation/invoices
Technical Overview
This is a field-based repair and warranty coordination role using DRH Warranty applications on mobile devices, with administrative support in MS Office and email. It involves processing written/electronic work orders, managing subcontractor schedules, and completing charge-back documentation and invoices.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a technician with 3+ years of hands-on home repair experience, including carpentry, drywall, texture repair, and painting. They can manage homeowner warranty requests, process work orders in DRH Warranty applications, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain high customer satisfaction with timely, professional follow-up.
