Cybersecurity Engineer (remote) to administer and monitor Linux/Windows servers, perform patching and threat monitoring, and contribute to cyber tool administration and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, triage, and escalate security alerts
- Administer Linux/Windows servers
- Patch, upgrade, and monitor systems
- Support cyber tools and incident response
- Produce security documentation
Technical Overview
Responsibilities include Linux/Red Hat administration, Windows Server/AD, Splunk monitoring, Nessus-based vulnerability scanning, and scripting with PowerShell, Python, Ansible; potential exposure to Nutanix, Zscaler, F5 Big IP.
Ideal Candidate
A mid-level cybersecurity engineer with at least 2 years of experience across Linux, Windows, AD, Splunk, and vulnerability scanning; comfortable with cloud-adjacent tools and scripting.
