About this role

Security On-Demand is seeking a Cyber Technician to support day-to-day cybersecurity operations, including cyber tool management, monitoring, documentation, and client onboarding via the DeepSeas platform. The role is remote but requires availability until 6pm PDT / 9pm EDT.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and configure cyber tools using SOPs, Monitor client cyber tools and respond to potential issues, Support integration with the DeepSeas platform and aid onboarding, Troubleshoot moderately complex technical issues, Contribute to documentation and training for evolving tools/processes

Technical Overview

You will learn and execute advanced cyber tool procedures using process documentation and SOPs, configure and operate client cyber tools, and support integration with the DeepSeas platform. The role emphasizes monitoring and rapid response to issues, plus documentation and continuous training to keep operations high quality.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience executing technical missions in a cybersecurity environment and can follow documented processes and SOPs with minimal supervision. They are comfortable monitoring and responding to potential issues, troubleshooting moderately complex technical problems, and supporting client onboarding via the DeepSeas platform. Strong written and verbal communication and adaptability to unknown issues are key.
