This role analyzes large healthcare datasets to extract value that influences business decisions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to find opportunities, investigate data irregularities, and deliver data-driven insights that reduce cost of care and improve clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze data from multiple healthcare and third-party sources
- Support large-scale projects with limited direction
- Perform root-cause analysis of data irregularities and present solutions
- Design, test, and implement process enhancements and automation opportunities
- Communicate and present data-driven insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Technical Overview
You will work with SQL/query languages and apply quantitative analysis and data mining methods to large databases. The work includes statistical analysis, basic data modeling, trend analysis, and root-cause analysis, with preferred use of Python and R plus business intelligence and visualization tools.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level data analyst with 2+ years working with large databases, performing data verification and data management. They have strong SQL skills and can conduct quantitative analysis, data mining, trend analysis, and root-cause analysis to drive healthcare cost and clinical outcomes. Experience with healthcare analytics and tools for business intelligence and visualization is strongly preferred.
