About this role

Data Analyst III Healthcare Analytics analyzes claims and cost trends to derive insights that reduce costs and improve clinical outcomes for Centene members. The role collaborates with stakeholders to deliver executive-ready data stories using SQL, Power BI, and Python/R.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret and analyze data from multiple sources
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL/Excel/BI reports
Plan and execute large-scale projects with limited direction
Automate processes and identify optimization opportunities
Present data-driven insights to leadership

Technical Overview

Strong SQL querying, data visualization with Power BI, and Excel; additional Python/R analytics and data mining capabilities are preferred for deeper insights into claims data.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a data analyst with 2+ years of healthcare analytics experience, proficient in SQL, Power BI, and Excel, with Python or R experience beneficial for advanced analytics and claims data interpretation.
