About this role

Data BI & Power BI Analyst to turn data into actionable insights by developing dashboards and analytics in Jersey City. This role requires strong Power BI, SQL, and data visualization skills, with collaboration across IT and business units to translate requirements into reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
Collect, clean, and transform raw data into structured datasets
Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and define KPIs
Develop and maintain data models (Power Query, DAX, tabular models)

Technical Overview

Focus areas include Power BI dashboards (DAX, Power Query), data modeling, ETL, and data governance. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and programming (Python/R) is a plus.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level BI analyst with 3-5 years of Power BI experience, strong SQL, ETL, data modeling, and the ability to translate business needs into dashboards for decision making.
