Cluster Operations Leader responsible for the end-to-end management of AWS Data Center clusters and colocation operations, focusing on safety, availability, scaling, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Hire and develop the operations team
- Achieve safety, security, availability, scaling, efficiency, and cost goals
- Plan and execute infrastructure operations for new Data Centers and Colocation expansions
- Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, and controls systems
- Manage Colocation service providers to meet SLAs
- Lead incident response and drive continuous process improvement
Technical Overview
Requires expertise in mechanical/electrical/controls systems, compute/storage/server platforms, and IT service delivery with a focus on continuous improvement and change management.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced infrastructure leader with 10+ years in datacenter operations and engineering, strong Lean Six Sigma background, and a track record of managing large, multi-site teams to optimize safety, availability, and cost.
