About this role
GXO is hiring a Data Center Logistics Associate to support daily logistics operations for a data center. The role focuses on receiving, inspecting, recording, and shipping inventory accurately while maintaining a clean and organized workspace and following safety and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming inventory including racks & trays and networking equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records, documentation, and perform stock counts with discrepancy reconciliation
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers and carriers; prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment including storage areas and shipping/receiving docks
- Assist with data center security compliance and help assemble server racks using provided instructions and diagrams
Technical Overview
This is a data-center adjacent logistics role with hands-on handling of inventory and assistance with computer server rack setup. Responsibilities include inventory documentation, shipment coordination with carriers and suppliers, pallet jack material handling, and compliance with data center access controls.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level logistics associate who can accurately manage inventory, perform stock counts, and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments. They are safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting data center operations including clean organization of work areas and assisting with server rack setup using provided instructions.
