About this role
This position supports data center operations through inventory management, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. You will also assist with computer server rack setup/installation while following safety procedures and data center security/access controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming inventory
- Perform stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and prepare shipping documentation
- Maintain clean, organized storage areas and shipping/receiving docks
- Assist in setup and installation of computer server racks
Technical Overview
This is hands-on logistics work focused on hardware inventory (racks & trays, networking equipment, other hardware) and shipment processing with suppliers/carriers. The role also includes assisting with computer server rack assembly/installation and complying with data center security measures and access controls.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a logistics/warehouse associate who can work varying shift schedules and consistently handle inventory with accuracy. They are comfortable with shipping and receiving duties, documenting hardware receipts/shipments, maintaining clean facilities, and assisting with server rack setup while following data center security and safety procedures.
