About this role
Data Center Manager role responsible for operational leadership of a data center, including managing teams, trouble ticket prioritization, and day-to-day operations. You will also lead improvements in process, technology, and automation and act as call leader during large scale events and outages.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators
- Manage performance of diverse data center operations teams across locations
- Ensure day-to-day operations including queue management and 7/24 shift arrangement
- Manage Large Scale Events (outages) and act as the call leader
- Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet required SLAs
Technical Overview
The position focuses on managing data center operations that span hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair, plus operational KPI tracking. It includes operational excellence through queue management, 7/24 shift arrangements, workflow and throughput improvements, and strict adherence to SLAs.
