About this role
Lead data center operations for AWS data centers, overseeing engineering teams, maintaining and bringing online data centers, and driving process improvements to meet rapid growth. Collaborates with internal teams and external vendors while ensuring health, safety, and metrics-driven performance.

- Assisting & managing relationships with external vendors & contractors
Technical Overview
Focus on data center technology, networking, and hardware; responsible for incident/problem/change/capacity management and automation opportunities. Travel between sites and training as needed.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior data center operations leader with 4+ years managing technical teams in data center environments, strong experience in networking or hardware, and a proven track record of process improvement and vendor management. They are travel-ready and comfortable working across multiple facilities while upholding health and safety standards.
Must-Have Skills
4+ years of technical team management experience4+ years of experience in a data center technology role and/or 4 + years of knowledge with Networking or Computer hardwareAbility to travel to or commute between data center locations as neededWillingness to temporarily work at alternative sites during training periods or until assigned facility is operationalUnderstanding of Health & Safety standards in data centers
