About this role
Data Center Operations Manager oversees day-to-day warehouse and data center-like operations within GXO Logistics. You will manage staff, enforce safety and quality policies, and coordinate maintenance to ensure reliable, compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure customer commitments are met
- Provide guidance to supervisors with respect to personnel, quality and safety
- Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively
- Make recommendations on programs to improve operations
- Adhere to and enforce all safe work practices, ensuring the warehouse is compliant with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other pertinent standards/regulations
Technical Overview
Focus on inventory control, quality management, OSHA compliance, Lean and Six Sigma, ISO/AS9100 environments, and use of Microsoft Office and scanner equipment; lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced operations manager with 4+ years in logistics/warehouse, strong leadership skills, and experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO/AS9100 environments.
