About this role

Data Center Technician supports AWS data centers by performing hardware installations and repair, network troubleshooting, and incident response. The role requires travel between data centers, on-call duties, and active participation in documentation and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Perform server rack installations
Hardware break-fix and network troubleshooting
On-call duties and scheduled maintenance/change management
Contribute to documentation and process improvement
Train and onboard new team members

Technical Overview

Hands-on data center operations with emphasis on server hardware, rack installations, network troubleshooting, and change management. Interaction with engineers, vendors, and contractors to maintain service availability.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a data center technician with 1+ years of hardware troubleshooting experience, capable of supporting 24/7 data center operations. They should be comfortable traveling between data center locations, handling on-call duties, and contributing to documentation and process improvements.

Must-Have Skills
