About this role

You will be a Data Center Technician supporting AWS data center operations through hardware and network diagnostics, physical break-fix, and incident response. The role includes scheduled maintenance, change management, on-call duties, documentation/process improvement, and supporting team onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix
  • Troubleshoot network issues and respond to operational incidents
  • Carry out routine network, server hardware, and operating system repairs
  • Participate in on-call duties, scheduled maintenance, and change management
  • Serve as primary contact for internal/external stakeholders and help with documentation and onboarding

Technical Overview

This position involves hands-on troubleshooting across server hardware, network connectivity, and operating system repairs to restore and maintain service availability. You will execute rack installations and routine maintenance in AWS data centers, participate in change management, and respond to operational incidents as part of 24/7 operations, including AWS GovCloud access restrictions for U.S. citizens.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an entry-level Data Center Technician who can perform hands-on server rack installations and hardware break-fix while troubleshooting network issues. They are comfortable working in an industrial environment, participate in on-call rotation and scheduled maintenance/change management, and communicate effectively with engineers, vendors, and contractors to restore service availability.
