About this role
Join AWS as a Data Center Technician supporting 24/7 data center operations. You will install equipment, perform hardware break-fix, troubleshoot network issues, handle operational incidents, and contribute to documentation and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix for data center components
- Troubleshoot network issues and respond to operational incidents affecting service availability
- Serve as primary contact for internal/external stakeholders including engineers and vendors
- Perform on-call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management
- Contribute to documentation, process improvement, and train/onboard new team members
Technical Overview
Responsibilities focus on physical infrastructure operations: server rack installations, hardware repair, network troubleshooting, incident response for service availability, and participating in maintenance and change management. The environment is operationally continuous (24/7) and requires on-call support.
