About this role
AWS is hiring a Data Center Technician to support 24/7 data center operations in Mesa, Arizona. The role includes server rack installations, hardware repair (break-fix), network troubleshooting, responding to incidents, and contributing to documentation and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix
- Troubleshoot network issues and respond to operational incidents
- Serve as primary contact for internal/external stakeholders including vendors and contractors
- Participate in on-call duties, scheduled maintenance, and change management
- Contribute to documentation and process improvement and train new team members
Technical Overview
This is a hands-on infrastructure role focused on keeping AWS data center systems running by maintaining hardware and addressing network issues. You will perform maintenance and change management activities, handle on-call duties, and escalate operational incidents as needed while coordinating with engineers and vendors.
