About this role

This contract SDET role modernizes test automation for UI and API quality within Agile delivery teams. You will build scalable automation frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and support compliance-oriented quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable UI and API test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback and release validation
Transition legacy automation tools (Selenium with Java, Postman/Newman) to unified solutions
Develop REST and/or SOAP API tests and end-to-end test suites for functional and non-functional requirements
Use SQL queries to validate data integrity and support test data setup and verification

Primary tools include Playwright with TypeScript (or equivalent) and CI/CD-aligned automation for UI and API testing. The scope covers REST/SOAP API tests and end-to-end suites, along with legacy modernization from Selenium (Java) and Postman/Newman.
