About this role

This role designs and operates large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics. You will implement data models and ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and Oracle, support online reporting/analysis with OBIEE, and produce dataset documentation and metadata.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics
Implement data structures using data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, SQL, Oracle, and OLAP technologies
Provide online reporting and analysis using OBIEE business intelligence tools
Gather business and functional requirements and translate into robust, scalable solutions within the data architecture
Produce comprehensive dataset documentation and metadata and evaluate dataset implementations

Technical Overview

You will build high-volume, high-performance data structures using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and OLAP technologies. The role focuses on SQL and Oracle implementations, with OBIEE for reporting and a logical abstraction layer over multi-dimensional datasets and multiple sources.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a Data Engineer II with at least 1 year of experience designing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics. They have hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, OLAP technologies, data modeling, SQL, and Oracle, plus the ability to produce dataset documentation and metadata. They can translate business and functional requirements into scalable, operable solutions and support end-to-end development with strong mentoring capability.
