About this role

This role designs, develops, implements, tests, documents, and operates large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics. You will build ETL/ELT pipelines and OLAP-driven reporting using SQL, Oracle, and OBIEE, while gathering requirements and producing dataset documentation and metadata.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement large-scale data structures for BI analytics
Develop ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, SQL, Oracle and OLAP-based solutions
Provide online reporting and analysis using OBIEE business intelligence tools
Gather requirements and translate them into robust, scalable solutions
Produce dataset documentation and metadata and mentor junior engineers

Technical Overview

You will use data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, SQL, Oracle, and OLAP technologies to provide online reporting and analysis through OBIEE. The work includes building scalable data solutions within an overall data architecture and participating end-to-end from design and implementation through testing, delivery, support, and maintenance.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a Data Engineer III with strong, hands-on experience building and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics. They have at least one year of experience specifically spanning ETL/ELT processes, OLAP technologies, data modeling, SQL, and Oracle, plus the ability to produce dataset documentation and metadata and mentor junior engineers.
