Data Integration Specialist responsible for designing, developing, and supporting end-to-end integration solutions with Java, cloud architecture, and microservices, while leading cross-team initiatives in a remote contract setting.

Key Responsibilities

Design, Develop, and Support Software Solutions: responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting applications, systems, and IT products that meet business objectives.
Execute System Implementations with Quality and Low Risk: plans and performs system implementations ensuring successful delivery while minimizing risk of outages or negative production impact.
Provide Architectural Insight and Solution Leadership: estimates high-level business requirements, provides options analysis, and contributes to application design patterns, integration approaches, and lifecycle processes.

Technical Overview

Focus on integration design patterns (Batch, Event-Driven, Real-Time) and APIs; requires translating architecture into actionable plans and guiding large-scale initiatives across multiple teams.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior level software engineer with 5+ years of integration engineering experience, strong expertise in Java, microservices, and SQL/NoSQL databases, and proven cross-team leadership across architecture discussions.
