Data Science Intern

Data Science Intern role within First American Data & Analytics provides a project-based, 10-12 week paid internship to gain experience in model development, feature engineering, and deployment across data-heavy projects.

• Perform exploratory analysis, construct variables, and identify patterns; collaborate with data operations to improve data elements; execute end-to-end model development lifecycle (problem identification, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment)

Focus on SQL and R/Python for building and evaluating models; end-to-end lifecycle from problem to deployment; interaction with data operations and analytics teams; use of MS Office for presenting insights.

The ideal candidate is a college student pursuing a Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of work experience, familiar with SQL, R or Python, and comfortable working with large datasets on end-to-end model development tasks during a 10-12 week internship.
