About this role
AbbVie seeks a Data Science Program Lead I to ensure successful execution of DSS program- and study-level accountabilities for clinical trials. The role aligns DSS study teams to program strategy, leads study operations as a single point of contact, and ensures compliance with GCP and ICH requirements while using operational analytics to improve timelines and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Align DSS study teams with program- and study-level strategies
- Lead assigned DSS Study Team and serve as single point of contact
- Use operational analytics and project management tools to optimize execution and reporting
- Ensure adherence to federal/local regulations, Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), ICH Guidelines, and AbbVie Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Coach and mentor Data Science Associates; oversee vendors and drive process improvements

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a clinical data/program leader with 3+ years of pharma/clinical research/data management/healthcare experience or 5+ years of project management experience. They have strong knowledge of the clinical trial process and are skilled at leading Data and Statistical Sciences (DSS) study teams while ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) and ICH Guidelines.
