Data Scientist supporting Demand Planning by developing forecasting models and applying ML techniques to improve forecast accuracy and supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and refine AI and machine learning models for demand forecasting
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand data patterns
Derive actionable insights on promotions, pricing, and external variables affecting demand
Employ the o9 platform and IDEs for model construction and deployment
Continuously monitor and improve forecasting accuracy

Technical Overview

Model development using Python/R/SQL; time series and ML methods; platform usage with o9; collaboration with planners; deployment and visualization of results.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level data scientist with 4+ years in forecasting and advanced analytics, strong Python/R/SQL skills, and experience with demand planning data and the o9 platform.
