About this role

Data Scientist II on the Client Analysis team builds ML models and analyzes massive customer datasets to generate actionable insights that demonstrate Socure’s product value and support revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze massive customer data sets and provide actionable insights
Act as a Data Science advocate: deeply understand Socure’s solutions and risk challenges
Create convincing data stories to showcase product value and risk management
Provide tools and automated workflows to improve speed/accuracy/reproducibility
Partner with GTM teams to derive analysis opportunities and upsell/product optimization

Technical Overview

Proficient in Python with PySpark; experience across Databricks, AWS/Azure/GCP; SQL querying; data storytelling and dashboarding using Looker/Tableau; familiarity with ML methods (supervised/unsupervised) and model evaluation.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level data scientist with 3+ years of experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and a proven ability to tell data-driven stories to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They should be comfortable operating in a remote startup environment, collaborating with GTM teams, and applying ML methods to large-scale identity/fraud problems.
