About this role
Data Scientist II - Computer Vision to build and maintain production CV models for document verification, including CNNs and transformer-based models, with a strong emphasis on end-to-end ML workflow and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve machine learning models for document verification use cases such as document classification, image quality assessment, field extraction, and fraud detection
- Own ML solutions end to end, from data preparation, model training, to deployment
- Act as a technical point of contact for customers, leading deep dives and evaluations
- Partner with engineering and product teams to deliver scalable document verification systems
- Translate requirements into objectives and communicate results to stakeholders
Technical Overview
Proficiency in Python with PyTorch or TensorFlow; deep learning for CV tasks (CNNs, transformers); OCR and document verification; production ML systems; version control and experiment tracking.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level data scientist with 5+ years of computer vision experience, strong Python and ML framework skills, and proven ability to work on production CV systems. They should excel in cross-functional collaboration and communicating complex model work to customers and stakeholders.
