About this role

Data Scientist II at Socure focusing on Watchlist analytics and production deployment of ML models. Will build automated analysis frameworks, monitoring systems, and data pipelines to accelerate client onboarding and model improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable analysis frameworks for POCs and production; bridge R&D and DSCA to actionable insights; build dashboards and real-time alert systems; enhance end-to-end pipelines with Spark, Databricks, and Airflow; collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Compliance on ML objectives and regulatory requirements

Technical Overview

Stack includes Python, SQL, Apache Spark, Databricks, Airflow; cloud: AWS; Infra as Code with Terraform; NLP/LLMs interest; real-time dashboards and model monitoring; ELK/Elasticsearch in preference.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level data scientist with 3+ years of hands-on Python and SQL experience, strong Spark/Databricks expertise, and a track record delivering production ML workflows. Familiarity with NLP/LLMs and regulatory tech (AML/watchlist) is highly desirable.
