About this role

This role performs sophisticated analytics for the Fraud Client Experience Team, using fraud complaint data and executive escalations to identify drivers and recommend process or procedural improvements. The position delivers predictive analytics insights through end-to-end data science solution design, technical delivery, and stakeholder-facing visualizations.

Key Responsibilities

Independently perform sophisticated data analytics including classical econometrics, machine learning, neural networks, and natural language processing
Produce data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders
Own end-to-end data science solution design, technical delivery, and measurable business outcomes
Independently write, document, and deploy custom code in Python, SAS, R to create predictive analytics applications
Provide consultation to business leaders and stakeholders to leverage analytics insights and build strategies

Technical Overview

The technical scope includes classical econometrics and advanced machine learning, neural networks, and natural language processing using structured and unstructured data. The role requires writing and deploying custom predictive analytics code in Python, SAS, and R, and building visualization and reporting that support data-driven decisions.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior data scientist with strong experience performing fraud-focused root cause analysis and trend analysis using advanced ML and NLP techniques. They can independently design and deliver end-to-end data science solutions, write and deploy predictive analytics code in Python, SAS, and R, and communicate insights through compelling data visualizations to executive and business stakeholders.
